Svarvaren Farm started as a dream to create a sustainable and authentic farm, focusing on local food production and offering unique experiences for visitors.

About us

We are passionate about communicating our passion for nature and the food we produce, and we strive to give our guests a memorable experience of life on the farm.

We grow vegetables throughout the summer season and have sales from the farm and various outlets in Tromsø.

We offer a guided tour of the farm, where the guide will show and teach you about our farm animals and the history of Norwegian farming. You get to feed and experience being close to our beautiful animals, the warmth of a fire, and a lovely view while we enjoy a hot drink.

Our tour is family-friendly and suitable for small children and babies too.
