Do you want to use the "Sustainable Destination" label in your own communication?
Tromsø has been designated as one of Norway's sustainable destinations through Innovation Norway's national labelling scheme. This label is awarded to destinations that have systematically and dedicatedly worked on all dimensions of sustainability over time and serves as an important quality mark.
If your company is a partner in Visit Tromsø-Region and is environmentally certified through Miljøfyrtårn or other certifications, you can use the sustainability label in your own marketing.
Why is this a good idea? There are several reasons:
- You attract the right guests: The labelling scheme is well-known both in Norway and internationally and attracts guests who value sustainability and the quality of the destination they visit.
- You increase your credibility: Your company receives a quality mark that shows you are part of a community working responsibly and correctly. This enhances your company's reputation among customers and partners. Being associated with the "Sustainable Destination" label shows that your company is a responsible actor in the destination and can provide a competitive advantage in a market increasingly concerned with sustainability.
- It offers collaboration opportunities: You will find it easier to collaborate with other environmentally certified companies, both locally and nationally, as well as other actors within the national labelling scheme. This can lead to new projects and benefits for both parties.
