Destinations of the future - digital conference

Dear tourism colleagues,

In collaboration with the sustainability network that we are a part of, Bærekraftsnettverket, we invite you to the joint digital conference "VertsKommunen" ("The Host Municipality") on 12 November from 08:30 to 11:00, with this year’s theme being:
"How to build the destinations of the future?"

The conference is aimed at all our stakeholders and partners, providing you with the opportunity to gain insights once a year into the efforts and initiatives that guide the sustainable development of tourism in Norway. The goal is to increase inspiration, motivation, and commitment to focusing on tourism and addressing local initiatives.

This year’s conference will focus on:

• How to establish and manage effective and action-oriented destination management
• How to work holistically with visitor management
• Specialised sessions on holiday homes, accessible tourism, transport & mobility, and cruise tourism
