General information

Snowshoeing Activity

The tour is designed to be easy and accessible: an experience guide will introduce you to the art of snowshoe walking at the start of the activity ensuring that even beginners can participate. The snowshoe hike offers a unique opportunity to explore the serene winter landscapes at slow pace.

As you make your way through the snow, your guide will share fascinating insights about the Arctic environment and teach you some good ice-cold wilderness survival skills: how to sleep outdoors, what to eat and how to orientate yourself.
Midway through the hike, we’ll pause at a nature camp where your guide will teach you how to chop wood and start a fire, on which you then will cook a delicious lunch.

Upon return to the camp, you will be informed on when and where you are expected for the second part of your activity: the visit to the Snow Park.
