Driving to Balsfjord 

The drive from Tromsø to Balsfjord takes about 1.5 hours. Follow E8 out of Tromsø, before turning off onto E6 towards Balsfjord. During the winter months, Malangen Resort offers an efficient transport service from Tromsø city centre and Tromsø Langnes Airport. To secure a spot, it is necessary to book tickets at least 48 hours ahead. The service operates only if there are pre-sold tickets. The price is approximately 500 NOK per person, each way. 

Driving to Malangen 

If you choose to drive yourself, head towards Kvaløya and follow Fv 862, turn onto Fv 858 at the roundabout in Eidkjosen and drive towards Malangen.
