Join a personalised northern lights chase in Tromsø and experience the aurora borealis while exploring the stunning Arctic landscape.

We travel in small groups to create a unique and cosy atmosphere, and to make the experience more personal and authentic. A mix of experienced aurora hunters, professional guides and photographers will lead the search for the northern lights.

Where the tour goes depends on the weather conditions and where clear skies can be found. Occasionally, the tour may go as far as the Finnish border.

Our local guides will pick you up in the city centre and take you out to beautiful mountains, fjords and valleys. Along the way, you can experience Northern Norwegian nature and landscapes, as far as the weather conditions allow.

Due to the unpredictable Arctic conditions, no northern lights tour can guarantee sightings, but we will do our best to give you a memorable experience. We provide warm drinks and snacks, and you can borrow a warm thermal suit. Your guide will take photos during the tour, and these will be sent to you the day after the excursion.

After the tour, you will be brought back to your hotel or accommodation.

If the sky is very cloudy on the night you have booked and the chances of seeing the northern lights are low, you may be offered the option to leave the bus and receive a full refund. We follow the weather forecast closely. If we do not call you before 19:00, the tour will go ahead as planned. Depending on the chances of seeing the northern lights, you may be offered the option to leave the bus and receive a full refund, or join the tour and receive a 30% discount if you do not see the northern lights.

The route: If necessary, our buses will drive north, south, east or west to find the northern lights. The maximum distance we drive is across the border to Finland in the east, and to Bardufoss in the south.

Included: Guide, thermal suit, snacks and marshmallows, transport back to your hotel or accommodation, professional photos taken by the guide, warm drinks such as coffee, hot chocolate and tea, as well as cold drinks such as water

Please bring: Your passport, warm mittens, a hat and warm boots. From November to April, we also recommend bringing spikes

Our activities are though in the way that all even the youngest of the family can have a funny time in our activities by boat, get surprised by the animals that we might see and sit with the captain, why not!?!?



We also take care of our Planet as much as we can and encourage our guests to participate actively on our purpose. 



We want to reduce how much garbage we generate by not using one use cups, spoons, etc. It is important to sort the garbage, so their usage cycle is not finished.
