This tour is conducted by Polar Adventures. Embark on a magical Northern Lights chase by boat in Tromsø! Hop aboard the comfortable Sagasund boat for an unforgettable journey to seek out the mesmerizing aurora borealis.

General information

Departing from Tromsø's city center at 20:00, the experienced crew will guide you to the best spots for viewing this incredible natural light show. While sailing across the Arctic waters, enjoy hot drinks, snacks, and a selection of cold beverages, all available for you to enjoy. Thermal suits are provided to keep you warm, and the crew will even assist you in capturing perfect photos of the Northern Lights. The adventure lasts 3.5 hours, with the boat returning to the dock by 23:30. Although sightings are not guaranteed, if the Northern Lights aren't visible on your first trip, you’ll receive a 50% discount on rebooking. Make sure to dress warmly and prepare for an unforgettable experience under the Arctic skies!

Our activities are though in the way that all even the youngest of the family can have a funny time in our activities by boat, get surprised by the animals that we might see and sit with the captain, why not!?!?



We also take care of our Planet as much as we can and encourage our guests to participate actively on our purpose. 



We want to reduce how much garbage we generate by not using one use cups, spoons, etc. It is important to sort the garbage, so their usage cycle is not finished.
