Join us on an exclusive small-group Aurora chase designed for the coziest and most intimate Northern Lights experience Tromsø has to offer. This tour is organized by Northern Shots Tours.

General information

The tour is designed to offer you a highly personalized experience, taking you on a journey to find the clearest skies to spot and capture the Northern Lights in all their glory.

The tour is provided by an industry leader specializing in Northern Lights excursions for over a decade and is led by licensed guides who are also professional photographers passionate about the Aurora.

Important Information:

Minimum Group Size: A minimum of 5 participants is required to run the tour. If the group is smaller, your tour will either be scheduled with a partner offering a similar experience, rescheduled to a different day, or canceled with a full refund.

Minimum Age: The tour is suitable for children aged 5 and above. Upon booking, please provide the child's age, height, and weight to ensure a properly fitting thermal suit and child seat for their safety and comfort.

Aurora Warranty: The Aurora Warranty applies only to the winter season in which the tour was booked. It is non-transferable, non-cumulative, non-compoundable, and cannot be claimed as a refund.

Additional Details:
-Guests are advised to wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
-The tour may be limited to a single location or extended to multiple locations based on the guide’s expert assessment to maximize the chances of spotting the Aurora. These locations may be shared with other tour groups.

Included: Aurora Warranty, offering a free tour on our Aurora Chase (coach-based) if your Aurora Chase (Small Group) is unsuccessful, licensed guides who are professional photographers, Aurora portraits in web resolution with high-resolution versions available for purchase, tripods upon request, photography support to help you capture the Northern Lights with your camera or phone, a campfire experience if weather permits, a warm expedition dinner with a vegan option, snacks and beverages including cookies and hot chocolate or warm drinks with vegan options available, eco-friendly cutlery and crockery, outdoor gear such as thermal suits, spikes, and headlamps, and drop-off at hotels in Tromsø Sentrum or the nearest bus or taxi stop
