103. Touring skis Dynafit Beast 108

General information

The Beast 108 free touring ski is made just for powder specialists. Developers have focused on downhill performance: Full ABS sidewalls and the ash wood core ensure edge grip and stability plus torsional rigidity. Nevertheless, this ski at 1,750 grams (size 181) performs well as a touring ski for middle-distance and long climbs. To achieve this, developers put their focus on weight reduction while not decreasing ski performance - for example, with the use of premium materials and the reduction of top sheets. This ski has Double Ellipse Rocker construction. Its construction works with variable edge lengths depending on the ski's edge angle and ensures optimum control and maneuverability in the backcountry. In addition, the "Ride Tip" -- a carbon core in the shovel optimizes vibration and damping properties.

If you are experienced skier choose the skis based on your experience and preferences.
If you are not sure look on the suggestion below and book the skis that will reach to a level between your eyes and the top of your head. If you are beginner choose rather shorter skis than longer.

You can book just the skis or ski touring package.
To book the package please book first the skis and then add the boots to your order, use the package price - 1 NoK.
Alpine poles, Dynafit or G3 skins and Dynafit ski crampons are included in the rental of the skis.


3000 NoK deposit per set of skis is required to pay upon pick up. Please make sure you have enough means on your card when you arrive to collect the gear.


If you rent just the skis with crampons and skins the costs are the same as for the package.

Most of the skis is available for rent from 1st of February, but many of them are ready from 1st of November, and can be rented if the snow conditions are good. Tromsø Outdoor reserves the right to cancel the reservations on skis if snow cover is not sufficient for safe skiing.

Tromsø Outdoor does NOT offer an insurance on the rented equipment and for it's users. Renters are liable for the lose, theft or damage of the equipment and must cover the cost of repairing or replacing it from own travel insurance or pocket. Tromsø Outdoor suggest you to organize insurance for yourself before you pick up the equipment.

You should also remember to always carry an avalanche beacon, shovel and probe when travelling in avalanche terrain and know how to use them (you can rent avalanche equipment with us).

Tromsø Outdoor reserves the right to change the reservation to other skis model or length in case the skis initially booked get damaged and we do not have the same skis model or length to replace them.

For returning the skis after ordered period rental rates for additional days need to be paid. If you wish to keep the equipment longer check with us if it is still available first, if it will be booked by someone else you must bring the rentals back.
