Introduction to rock climbing - guided trip for beginners

General information

Departing from the city center, our adventure begins with a scenic 30-minute journey to the climbing destination on Kvaløya island. Upon arrival, a short and easy 5-minute walk leads you to the cliffs awaiting your ascent.

At the top of an unforgettable climb, we will pause for a local snack in a natural setting.

Are you ready for a bigger climbing challenge? On private request, we can offer a longer excursion to reach higher cliffs in hidden parts of Kvaløya.

No need to worry about the shoes; all the routes are climbable with regular shoes. Participants will be responsible for belaying each other under the supervision of our team. The location is designed for beginners, ensuring a safe and thrilling experience.

Please note that this tour is designed to provide a climbing experience as a leisure activity but will not offer any certification. It is meant as an opportunity to enjoy an outdoor climbing session under the watchful eye of a guide.

In case of inclement weather, the trip will take place at the local indoor climbing gym, and a complimentary beverage and cake will be provided.

All guests need to wear clothes appropriate for the weather; this always includes bringing wind- and waterproof clothes.

Please bring: Sunglasses, sunscreen, warm jacket, baskets/hiking shoes, lunch if needed (a small snack and drink will be provided), climbing shoes (optional)
