General information
You will be welcomed at the farm by our local guide, and then meet our indigenous and unique horse breed from Troms, Lyngshesten. Here you will hear about the salvage work of the breed after WW2, when it was very critical and very few individuals remained. Tromsø Lyngshest runs one of the largest breeds in Norway of Lyngshest, and with us you will get to join the herd and greet all our breeding mares and foals. Then we select horses, which we take in and groom and prepare for riding. We have helmets, customers must bring and wear warm clothes. We ride out from the farm and follow the road to the beautiful beach located at Snarby. After the ride, we take care of the horses, before releasing the horses into the herd.
