Visit Tromsø-Region AS (VTR) was established in 2009 and is today one of Norway’s largest destination management organisations, with more than 240 partners across the tourism industry: accommodation, food and drink, transport, experiences and visitor services.

Our aim is to strengthen local value creation and facilitate a competitive, sustainable, year-round destination that is attractive to both visitors and residents.

We work to ensure favourable framework conditions for the tourism industry and collaborate closely with businesses in the Tromsø region, as well as local, regional and national authorities and other key stakeholders – including Visit Norway, the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), fellow destination organisations and leading industry associations.
