Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and teeming wildlife, immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature from your personal one-person kayak.

As we navigate through this picturesque landscape, we'll make our way to a secluded island or beach, offering a perfect spot to pause and recharge. Here, your guide will treat you to a culinary delight—a locally crafted traditional fish stew (vegetarian/vegan option can be provided).

Equipped with top-quality kayaking drysuits and stable kayaks, you'll remain warm and dry throughout the journey.

Please note that while transport from Tromsø is not included, the journey to our starting point promises its own scenic delights, setting the stage for a truly unforgettable escapade. And to ensure safety and comfort, please be mindful of our guest weight and height limits for our kayaks: 120 kg and 1.90 meters, respectively.

No experience required. However, a basic fitness level is necessary.

Our tours can be adjusted for all levels of experience.

Run Wild is a small family-owned business run by Ben and Renate. We offer Kayaking, fishing and dog sledding for all levels, and we only do small/private groups in the pristine areas around the Malangen peninsula. 


We offer only top quality gear and our dogs are treated like family. Our area is secluded and quiet, and our guests will get to see the best the Arctic has to offer throughout all seasons. Our guests' safety and wellbeing is our highest priority, and we are willing to go the extra mile to give the most authentic and enjoyable experience, in all weather conditions.
