Directions: Located in the middle of the village Skaland on Senja.

From Tromsø:
218 km via (E8) Målselv. Summer route via Sommarøy 88 km and ferry route Brensholmen-Botnhamn (from autumn 2021 the ferry runs year-round).

From Finnsnes:
You get to Skaland from Finnsnes / Silsand either by driving across Senja on the R86 towards Gryllefjord, turn right into Straumen on FV862 and then follow the signs to Skaland. A total of 58 km and less than 1 hour and 10 minutes drive.

You can also choose to drive the northern route, turn right at the junction at Silsand, on FV 862 towards Senjahopen, turn left at the junction at Senjahopen and then follow the signs to Skaland. A total of 84 km and driving time about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Buses leave from Finnsnes Quay:
Route 360 (bus change in Straumen to 362) to Skaland.
Route 380 (bus change at Lysnes to 370) to Senjahopen and then route 362 to Skaland.
